Hello, I'm Husna!
Author of my debut children's picture book
I lost something very special. As well as an author I am a wife, a mother of two, and a Counsellor and Psychotherapist; supporting children, young people, and adults.
Alongside my private practice, I also work as a secondary school Counsellor and School Project Manager with the children's mental health charity Place2Be.
I have worked with children and young people in many capacities, ranging from a nursery assistant to a manager of a tuition company. I feel it's important to support children to use their voices and tell their own stories.
As a child, I always enjoyed reading and writing stories and would often find myself captivated by the tales told by my teachers, siblings, and parents. There is something magical about story-telling as it can truly transport you into a whole new world.
